Back in 2015, while preparing for my CMA exams in my small hometown near Haridwar, I, Himadri Chauhan, discovered something that quietly changed my life. In a small room filled with paints, sneakers, and big dreams, what started as a simple hobby slowly turned into my true passion.

Those early days were full of experiments, creativity, and hope.

But the real strength behind this journey was my biggest supporter — my father. 🎨
An artist with a heart full of belief, he never asked me to choose a “safe” career or follow a conventional path. Instead, he encouraged me to follow my passion and create something meaningful. Alongside my sister Anushree, who supported my art every step of the way, we started crafting sneakers one pair at a time.

What began as a small dream slowly grew into something much bigger.

Today, after 10 beautiful years, we proudly stand as India’s first brand to introduce hand-painted, water-resistant shoes. Over time, our journey evolved, and in 2022 we stepped into the world of custom bridal sneakers — designing footwear that reflects each bride’s personality, outfit, and story.

Every pair we create carries a piece of our creativity, dedication, and love for art.

Built by an all-women team, Funky N Trendy represents courage, creativity, and the belief that dreams can grow from the smallest beginnings. With our main workshop in Haridwar and another in Chandigarh, our handcrafted sneakers have walked into weddings, danced through celebrations, appeared with celebrities, and reached happy customers across the world.
